“Follow On” is my all-time favorite song. I’ve always followed Paul Young but only recently realized that you were the one who wrote it even though he sang the version with which I am the most familiar. Thank you for writing the lyrics that touch my soul every time I hear the song. Be blessed, Melissa in Texas, USA, 2019
Greetings from the arctic. We spoke many years ago following the 911 attacks in the US. I was with Dublin Fire Brigade at that time and you kindly agreed to any musical function based in Ireland to raise funds for the 343 Firefighters. I remember your immediate support and although the concept did not happen (bigger events surpassed the idea), I much appreciated your sincere interest to support and use Irish music as a platform to help healing. I live a long ways from the "Shamrock Shore" now, but I am always tied to home and our culture through your music and the great musical journey you have shared with us from your early Johnstons' Days !!!
Some of my Inuit friends believe you would make a great "throat singer" (their unique singing style) - not recommended for the faint hearted ! - I in turn had them try your vocal range in Lakes of Pontchatrain - they were most impressed !! - Anyway, I hope to see one of your shows next year....and I am sure you are thinking about a song speaking to the Climate Crisis, which is having such dramatic impacts on the Inuit way of life, and the animals of the arctic and the entire ecosystem here. Your lyrics are as powerful as you voice - People listen to Paul Brady.

A number of years ago my love of Live music was rekindled when Cheryl my Wife bought me tickets to see you solo in Cheltenham Town Hall. I then again had the pleasure of seeing you at Cropredy a few years ago. Thank you for the music 🎧 and the pleasure that comes with it.
And yes my roots although English, are very much from the Bridgend.

I’m incredibly late to the party as I’ve only just discovered you, but by God you’re an astonishing artist!!! You have become the soundtrack to Lockdown! When all this is over any plans to come to Liverpool or Manchester?
Paul,
Truly a legend. Thanks for keeping the fire burning!
Hey Paul, your songs are a constant source of joy and inspiration as a musician. Your music is like no other, and I tell anyone I can about you, and share your songs with all who will listen. Have a great day, hope you are well!
A few years ago a friend introduced me to your music.
Anita Lock from Oberlin, Ohio! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your music, Paul!!!
Dear Paul,
Dear Paul thank you for your touching song The Homes of Donegal. I visited this area a year ago and will be back this year. Every time I listen to the pleasant memories of this earth, tears flow from my eyes. This year I will visit you listening to your wonderful song.
Hi Paul - just wondered if there is any chance that you will be doing an English concert this year along with Andy, Donal and Kevin. It is far too long since the last London gig at the Barbican and, having followed your music for over 50 years, we just want more!!
Was thinking about Bonnie Raitt show in NY last year and was struck by her face and voice when speaking of you. The eyes tell all.
Hi Paul... you kindly signed your cd covers for in '95 and we first met in Liverpool on your Birthday, same year. Last met you at The Cotton Club in Japan, 2015.
Paul, Have always told loved ones and friends that at my funeral ,I wanted “The Island” played. The guitar solo alone is an inspiration. I have since been through anxiety and depression therapy and treatment and that and many of your other songs have lifted me and inspired me. Oh What a World never fails to raise me up. Love the pop songs and although I am not Irish, the traditional stuff makes me feel I am. I wrote a song called “Time and Time Again”, greatly inspired by you. Thank you for your music and your heart. Mark
Dear Mr. Brady,
Dia Duit Paul
I was just about nineteen... when the Hard Station album came out. It has been the most influential/inspiring album in my life. Thank you so very much.
Hello from Donegal. Paul you are always a very welcome visitor to our shores here on Lough Swilly. We were discussing your body of work over the weekend and it was noted that to the best of our knowledge there isn’t a festival that celebrates such on the planet. With this in mind we proposed to mark your talent by having a celebration of your work right here in Rathmullan in 2020.Obviously we would not undertake such a task without your blessing but if that was forthcoming then we would endevour to not only make it a weekend to remember but hopefully set it up as an annual event. If you could fit us in to your busy schedule for 2020 that would indeed ne the icing on the cake. We look forward to hearing your thoughts on same.
Dear Paul,
Hi Paul,I have long been an admirer of your music and the track [the island] for me has special lyrics.,sàr fhacal, more power to you.
Paul, Andy, Donal- Waterfront. Looking forward to that one!
Hi Paul - I'm in the US but have become a big fan of your music. I got to meet you briefly after your appearance at the London Palladium with Jimmy Buffett last month. Thanks for signing my ticket! It made my night. Keep on doing what you do!
