What an amazing evening of song and instrument playing. From 8pm sharp until 10.15 you gave the performance of a lifetime.
Wishing you continued deserved success and may we continue to enjoy your wonderful talent..
I wonder if you still have that old Yamaha guitar from '77.
Have a good one.
Did you play in a band called Blues house back in the early days.
Many thanks

When we were all in lockdown I had 3 live acts I wanted to see 1) Dylan (again) 2) Springsteen and 3) Yourself. Amazing I got the opportunity to see you in Dunlewely for the Saturday night performance (and got a signed album + photo). It was an amazing gig, with life-affirming performances. Haven't been able to stop trying to play Arthur McBride since. Looking forward to the chance to see you again.
Heard the interview on Rte at Claire Byrne's show. I follow you from northern Spain since I found a 2nd hand Back To The Centre record at a Temple Bar old record shlp in late 90's. I was glad to hearing from you and hope to see you in good form at the Vicas St gig.

Just heard your new album "Maybe So". Really great and moved me a lot. This is the music that accompanied my life particularly intensively and emotionally in the 80s and 90s.
Thanks for that.
I switched back to vinyl. It would be nice if this album would also be released on vinyl.

Thank you for a fantastic evening at the National Opera House in Wexford yesterday evening. Been waiting for the opportunity to listen to your live performance since the Hard Station days and you certainly didnât disappoint. You even gained a new fan in my wife Marta who was extremely impressed by your musicianmanship and singing.
You were in great form at the Town Hall Galway on Friday. I think âIf it wasnât for the crocodiles. I would sleep out in the woodsâ
Is a great line. Hope youâll be back soon.

Paul, we enjoyed your wonderful performance in the Watergate tonight along with the full house of dedicated followers.
Thank you so much for your fabulous, personal music - so much appreciated and enjoyed by my beautiful late wife Vivienne especially on our times in Donegal - FOLLLOW OO . . . .
Amazing lifetime of work, thank you.. Welcome here kind stranger, what great acoustic playing.
Hi Paul, my last live concert pre-Covid was your show in Newry Town Hall in September 2019, and my first post-Covid was Dunlewey on Saturday 23 April '22....Absolutely amazing return to live music in the most spectacular setting you could imagine. Helpless Heart and Wheel Of Heartbreak are absolutely stunning solo live. So difficult to pick an all-time favourite PB song but Steel Claw and Oh What A World are definitely up there. Would love to hear Maybe Tomorrow live sometime too. Thanks for the music! Danny

Hello Paul
Hi Paul.
Hi,
Hi Paul, I was just thrilled to see last night that you have reissued the album The Green Crow Caws. It is a real favourite of mine, and it was great to be able to buy it online. I have an old scratched LP which came from my mother's collection. It still plays--just! But the download is a real treat to have, and sounds better than ever. (My vinyl copy of Hard Station is still in perfect condition, and enjoyed frequently of a Friday evening here in Redcastle!) Thank you so much for all your wonderful work and talent, we have always been huge fans in this house. I hope you and yours are keeping safe and well. Beir bua agus beannacht
Hi Paul, what a Show! We were overwhelmed by the power , emotion and obvious fun you seemed to have, too.. Yes, it was us in the Restaurant. and front row. We were so happy to see you and your wife there in good health and we did not want to disturb your privacy. I am sure we come over again to see you somewhere soon. All the best to you and Mary! Beate and Uwe
Hi Paul, we're listening to your music since more than 30 years and always wanted to see you live. As we never saw concert announcements in Germany, I finally bought tickets for the Athlone show as a christmas gift for my wive back in 2019. COVID let to postponements and we're now finally ready to fly to Dublin on Friday this week. I hope you're recover soon from COVID and you're able to play Athlone. We cannot wait another 20 years! All the best and good health soon!
Hi Paul, just to say that 'the lakes of Pontchartrain" is probably one of my favourite songs of all time.. I mean your version. Out of curiosity, I had a look online to see if there was an original version but I couldn't find one. But anyway, if there were, I'm sure it wouldn't be equal to yours, because it's not only the song or melody. but the way you use your voice, so meloncholically and emotionally. ( I feel that those two adjectives don't really express what I mean ,đ) but I can't find the right ones.). Anyway, your songs.and voice are amazing. Thanks a million for being in my life!!!! â¤ď¸
