I’m a long time follower of your music and your virtuoso guitar playing. Love the new Unfinished album and paricularly the traditional songs. Am currently visiting South Africa with an iPod to help the journey. As a kenn but very amateur guitarist I am intrigued at the Cocks are Crowing accompaniment. Can you tell me whether you have tuned differently and the wonderful subtle chord change that goes through the song. I am a long term struggler with Arthur McB.
Hope to catch you in the UK in 2018. Many thanks.
Ps my sister in law lives in Stepaside (Lettie McCarthy) where we visit her often. Yet to bump in to you in the Step Inn but that will be a relief for you!
First found your Arthur McBride on a mix Tape my brother gave me and it wasn't for many years until I knew who you were and dove into your catalog. The "thing" you have above most of the artists out today beside your considerable craft is emotional honesty. I believe every word you sing whether it's a traditional folk ballad or one of your own beautifully written songs. They touch me deeply. Thanks so much for keeping at it.

Looooove the music! Keep it up!
Hi Paul, so good to see you at the gig in Belfast a few moths ago. Absolutely fantastic gig and then met up with some of the guys outside which just finished the night up. Enjoying the new album and enjoying some of the old ones again. Hope to see you out there again very soon.
Hi Paul.
Hallo Mr Brady. I was just watching a video of you and Andy Irvine playing Arthur MacB in 1977, and feel that your guitar style, then as now, is the perfect kind of achievement- just a bit beyond my own skills, but with a rattling soul that keeps it in touch with common realities. Saw you at Wolverhampton Wulfrun Hall in 1992 with my girlfriend Sally, and we felt part of something special. Can I post here a lyric of a song I wrote at Oxford Irish folk club in 1985 which might spark some interest in the Irish-English connection? I feel that story has been rather overblown by Enterprize narratives when the song I wrote was more about the Marxist connection. Thanks. Peter
Hi Paul
Hi Paul, all the best for 2018! Any plans to come to Germany eventually in 2018? We follow you since the early "Back to the Center" in `85 and never had the chance to see you live so far.
Paul,
If my husband and I could be said to share any music it’s Spirits Colliding which we always play when we go on any driving holiday. Love it! Can’t see how to get on your mailing list. Please add me. Thanks for all the hours of enjoyment listening to you. Val

It was great to see you in Kilkenny on the 16th Dec. It was a great gig. We particularly loved " Nothing But the Same Old Story" on the night..............to say it was performed with passion is an understatement!!!
Have been a fan for many years going back to the 70s. You just get better with. Thanks for the songs
Just wanted to say thank you for giving me a year of great music and memories. Came to Dublin in May for the 40th anniversary tour, Saw you in September in London at Cadogan Hall and just flew over to Dublin again for tonights gig with the band- all were really fantastic events. Now have 15 of your CD's and your music is a constant companion - which song, depending on which words match my mood. Thank you so much for all the pleasure you bring to so many peoples lives including my own. Hope you get some rest before tomorrow nights gig.
Hi Paul. Saw you for the 1st time in the Basement in Sydney the same night Crowded House were doing their farewell concert on the steps of the Opera House. Made the right choice in going to see you. Have been to a lot of your gigs in between and was in UL last night. It was even better than the 1st time - pure magic. So thanks - and congrats on getting better with age.

Hi. Paul. While your version of Busted Loose will ever be bettered, the Chuck Farley Band make a pretty good effort at it. Worth a look on Youtube
