I'm a massive fan of yours Mr. Brady. Any plans for you to visit Scotland soon? Have a lovely Christmas, Arthur McBride will be blasted out as ever that morning!
Hi Paul, See you many times but not in the last few years. Any plans to play England any time soon? Thanks and Happy Christmas.
Paul, I remember seeing the Johnstons in Toronto in the early 1970's at a little folk club on Jarvis St. Maybe Grumbel's but my memory fades a little. So happy to hear you are still making music and impacting others with your sweet voice. All the best, S.
I have always been a fan right from your folk days to your rock and pop....such a soulful man of integrity....a great singer and writer.....thankyou for the music ❤️
Just a question for you. I have been looking up the years your albums were released. The first one I got was Full Moon. It says it was released in 1986. My question is was it released earlier in Germany? I got it over there on Vinyl ( Still Have it) But I left Germany in Oct of 1985. And I got it way before I left. Just wondering that's all. Love your music, have all your albums, and I have been lucky enough to see your show twice. Thanks for the Music!
My heart aches that I just saw that you played in New York this past Wednesday. I saw you last year at City Winery, and it was fantastic. I am a big fan, and I check your dates on the web page, but I missed seeing this last visit to NYC. I hope I can catch you next time around. I love your work!
Great performance at the NUI Galway NYC dinner. We saw you at the same venue a few years ago. A real treat for a great cause. thank you!
Hi Paul. Unfortunately I didn't get to see any of your concerts in Ireland this year so I'm hoping you will be touring again next year as I definitely plan to catch you. I live your music and look forward to seeing you live!
Hello Mr. Brady,
...of course I meant 2016, but you knew that, didn't you. 🙂 🙂
Thanks so much, Paul, for a most wonderful gig at Ballymaloe Grainstore in Oct '06. Amazing. You made my entire year 🙂
Hi Paul. Your music has aways been an inspiration to me. I am now sitting in my studio working on a new song and have just discovered I have cancer so not too long for this world. Your music will always be with me and one day I might just write something to make me proud. Thank you for the muse. Your music keeps me alive and is a wonderful friend. Thank you. Arvid.
Hi Paul, just got home from seeing you tonight at Nell's and you just blew me away! Fantastic, thanks so much for the music!!
greetings Paul, I was quite recently introduced to your music whilst listening to an interview you did on, I think radio 2, whilst driving my cab in the early hours one morning. Having loved the music of Rory Galagher, Gary Moore, Phil Lynott, Christie Moore, Ronnie Drew, it was great to hear your work. when you coming to Liverpool buddy? I play my guitar and sing a few songs around the Liverpool pub scene, would you mind if I included, 'same old story' in my set?
Altan "Daily Growing" started playing on my you-tube. I recognized a unique and familiar voice - and the internet confirmed it was yours. Several musical lifetimes ago for you but the Brady Irvine album was absolutely great - and Paddy's Lamentation on the Gathering was great as well. A vivid dream maybe 30 years ago - me and my sister, young, passengers in a car with an unknown driver hearing your voice crystal clear singing the chorus of Paddy's Lamentation. Well, we have been here since the 1800s - from the north - and are still dreaming and occasionally lamenting.
Can't wait to see you in London in October!
I have listened to your songs for many years. The Lakes of Pontchartrain played loudly over and over from my car stereo while visiting New Orleans. And so many other wonderful songs you have written/recorded over the decades. Thank you so much for sharing your many talents with the rest of us- to form a sound track for our lives.
